Senior Backend Developer

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust backend services that power the company’s core products. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high‑performance APIs and data pipelines.

• Architect and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Python, or Java, ensuring clean code and adherence to best practices.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies for relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring solutions to maintain high availability and rapid deployment cycles.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to define performance benchmarks and troubleshoot production incidents.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong portfolio of production‑grade services.
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Node.js, Python, Java, Go) and experience with microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases, including query optimization.
• Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a proven ability to work in an agile environment.
