About the role
The Senior Backend Developer will architect, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across our product suite. This role collaborates closely with front-end teams, product managers, and DevOps to deliver robust APIs and microservices that meet business objectives.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for core business features.
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with DevOps to design CI/CD pipelines and monitor application performance.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Evaluate and integrate third‑party services and libraries to accelerate development.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in backend development with Java, Node.js, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in designing scalable microservice architectures and API gateways.
