About the role
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services that power the company’s core products, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
What you will do
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using modern frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Spring Boot).
- Collaborate with front‑end and product teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and caching strategies to improve application performance.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing preventive measures.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems in a production environment.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go) and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of API design principles, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
