About the role
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services that power the company’s core products, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
What you will do
- Architect and implement robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, Java, or Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement monitoring and alerting solutions
- Stay current with emerging backend technologies and best practices
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Node.js, Java, Python, Go)
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude
