About the role
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high‑performance backend services that power our core products. Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable APIs.
What you will do
- Architect and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Design data models and optimize database queries for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and performance testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with DevOps to automate CI/CD pipelines and monitor application health.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and drive root‑cause analysis.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Node.js, Python, Java, Go).
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
