About the role
The Backend Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side components of our web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Working closely with front‑end engineers and product managers, the role focuses on API development, database optimization, and integration with third‑party services.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, Python, or Java
- Optimize database queries and design efficient data models in PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps to deploy and monitor services on cloud platforms
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3–5 years of professional backend development experience
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, Java, Go)
- Experience with relational databases and ORMs
- Strong understanding of REST, GraphQL, and asynchronous programming
