About the role
A mid-level Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side components of our web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. The role involves collaborating with front-end teams, data engineers, and product managers to deliver robust APIs and services that power our core products.
What you will do
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js/Java or Python
- Optimize database queries and data models for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend services and troubleshoot integration issues
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production incidents
- Document API specifications and maintain technical documentation
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years of professional backend development experience
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Java, Python, Go)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Knowledge of API design principles and best practices
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
