About the role
A Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features, optimize existing services, and uphold code quality standards.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Design database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage data persistence.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with front‑end developers, product managers, and QA to deliver high‑quality features.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose scalability solutions.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience building backend services.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, Java, Go).
- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Strong understanding of API design, versioning, and documentation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
