About the role
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services that power the company's core products and APIs. Works closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions.
What you will do
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, Python or Java
- Develop and optimize database schemas and queries for relational and NoSQL databases
- Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with front‑end and product teams to define feature requirements and technical specifications
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements
- Document architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of professional experience in backend development
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, Java, Go)
- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases
- Strong understanding of API design principles, authentication, and security best practices
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
